OK, so I just chose five random pictures because that's the max blogger lets me upload at a time and I cannot be bother waiting another upload session... So here goes.The one above was taking in Hagley Park, ChristChurch. I found it in the garden bordering the rose garden.
Also taken at Hagley park, infact all of them are except one, so just take it as said, they all came from there unless other wise metioned... Down one of the path which I hadn't gone done before and one of the people I was with wanted to show us. =)
Purple Roses... I never really believed they existed in the real world until I saw them with my own eyes. They have some strange, mystical quaility about them, one that I can't quite place... but then, it's really like that with most roses!
I simply love the soft, marshmellowy look to this rose. It makes me want to eat it!
Now this, this is the only one not from Hagley Park. When at Lake Kanerie, Westland District, some friends and I were canoeing on the lake and came across water lillies. Their being so beautiful was their downfall, for we couldn't resist picking some! After we had beached the canoes, I then placed one in the shallow, crystal water and took this photo.Siminy
